We were extremely fortunate in securing the sevices of Vaughan & Scully at very short notice habing been let down by a negative experience with another house builder
Phil and Barrie agreed to help us out with our house renovation project and having appreciated our predicament, immediately brought in their quarentity surveyor who supplier me with a total cost and lead time expectation within 5 working days.
Once agreed the team moved into our house on 1st December 2009 and within 2/3 weeks had gutted the premises to just the four walls over three floors and rebuild it again to finished condition by mid February 2010.
The programme of work internally comprised complete renovation of all the internal rooms and including two bathrooms, new kitching, additional bedrooms, dressing room and utility room.
Externally the rebuilt the garage, widened the driveways and relaid pathways, all with intergrated lighting systems. Finally they even undertook the garden clearence and turf laying of the lawn areas.
The whole project was complimented by a very comprehensice internal and external painting and decoration program. All to the highest standard.
We were most impressed by the management of Vaughan & Scully's integrated team of employees and the quality of their work. The various trades people and suppliers all dedicated themselves to the project with the utmost professionalism and throughout the severe winter weather, turned up at 7:30am every morning and never missed a single day throughtout these conditions.
I would highly recommend the professional services offered by Vaughan & Scully to any prosepective client for all projects both large and small and would be pleased to demonstrate the standard of their workmanship at our home should this be desired.

Having tried on a number of occasions to get planning permission on our property & failing miserably, We contacted Vaughan & Scully builders who were highly recommended to us by a previous client.
Not realising bow well Vaughan & Scully worked so closely with Neath Port Talbot council, it was with great pleasure that they resolved the issue & an agreement was made to which we were able to build our dream house. They arranged site meeting on our property on sereval occasions to resolve any queries or issues we had, and from this point onwards we felt a weight had been lifted from our shoulders.
Once our plans were approved the demolition date of our house was agreed & true to their word they started on that day. During the demolition & build process I would to say that Vaughan & Scully would be on site at 7:30qm & worker untill 5:30pm - sometimes later. Also at weekends which was greatly appreciated.
During the build process Barrie & Phil were always on hand day or night to answer any questions we had.
We would also like to thank all the boys working for them, who were always polite & had the utmost respect towards our property. They also left the site spotless at the end of every working day.
The same could be said reqarding all the subcontractors who Barrie & Phil organised. All their work was of the highest quality.
To sum things up, We are now living in our dream house that has been built to the highest of standards, way beyond our expectation throughout the whole process we felt no stress whatsoever & enjoyed the experience.

Searching for builders for a new home in south wales, we noted the high standard of brickwork on a new build nearby and wanted the same team. They turned out to be Vaughan & Scully.
